Increased diversity is needed in clinical trials.

The Tigerlily Foundation is a huge advocate for improving access to necessary screening, treatment, and access to clinical trials for under represented communities. In order to increase diversity in clinical trials:

  1. Patients need to know they qualify for a trial.
  2. Patients need to be able to get to the location where the trial is taking place.
  3. Patients need to be able to access trial staff during times that work in their schedule.

Did you know about trials available when you were in treatment? Did you participate in a trial? Share it in the comments.
