Increased diversity is needed in clinical trials.
The Tigerlily Foundation is a huge advocate for improving access to necessary screening, treatment, and access to clinical trials for under represented communities. In order to increase diversity in clinical trials:
- Patients need to know they qualify for a trial.
- Patients need to be able to get to the location where the trial is taking place.
- Patients need to be able to access trial staff during times that work in their schedule.
