Cancer Survivorship sometimes feels like waiting for the other shoe to drop.

This is definitely true of screenings. We have talked about scanxiety in the past. That is definitely a thing. However, it is also challenging as a cancer survivor because often our doctors are on the alert for other things that might go wrong. It comes from a good place. They want us to be healthy. Yet when you are a cancer survivor your potential for some other kind of cancer may be higher than the average bear. As a result there is a level of being on the alert for anything that might be outside of the norm.
