Outward appearance does not tell our whole story.
Whether it is our recovery from treatment or our mental health outward appearance is only a fraction of the story. I can smile and be told how great my energy is while feeling like I am barely holding it together.
It doesn’t mean my smile and energy are fake. It just means we can be more than one thing at a time.
