Cancer Truth Note: #156

Managing neuropathy or chronic pain can be overwhelming. Without effective tools to manage it, anxiety and depression may sneak up on us.

Chronic pain is an invisible challenge we may face. It also shows up in different ways. In cancer truth note #134 I talked about how common chronic pain is for cancer survivors and how it can sometimes completely freak us out.

It can also cause you to avoid activities that you previously enjoyed. That can really impact our mental wellbeing.

I have been working with some simple tools both personally and in the studio that are amazing for focusing the brain, improving mobility, and positively impacting neuropathy. I am going to be sharing some short videos of these in my facebook group Surviving is Just the Beginning this week. If you are not a member come on over and join or drop me a DM for more info.

I know how valuable movement has been to quieting some of my chronic pain challenges, especially the drug induced to muscle and joint challenges. Yet if we are down or feeling like we can’t move without causing more pain we may not start.

What is keeping you from starting?

Let me know in the comments.

Continue the conversation in the facebook group Surviving is JUST the Beginning or follow me on Instagram.
