Cancer Truth Note: #160

Shifting our brain’s focus for 30 seconds to a minute can unlock our creativity, quiet attention challenges, and calm down chronic pain.

Last week we talked about a change of scenery helping us to give our brain a mini reset. I have been working with brain speed charts and brain speed balls in my practice for years.

When I started this work I was really surprised how throwing a ball against the wall for 30 seconds to 2 minutes and really focusing on that ball while I played could improve my movement, my ability to focus, and chill out my ADD tendencies, at least for a little while. Clients have also reported improvements in neuropathy and mobility.

Next week, after I am cleared to get moving again I will share some videos and my experience getting moving AGAIN. It can be daunting but using the tools in my toolkit are an important step to getting back to my normal.

What could you use support on to move the needle on normal?
