Cancer Truth Note: #204

Listening to your body when it whispers so it doesn’t scream is even more important when you are in a phase of healing.

Our body gives us all kinds of alerts depending on the circumstance. One of our jobs is to pay attention and respond accordingly.

If you are recovering from neck surgery or a concussion and you have a headache, you may be overdoing it.

If you have a hysterectomy and feel pressure or discomfort a few weeks post surgery, you may be overdoing it.

If you are in active treatment or recovering from radiation or surgery and you have a to-do list longer than three bite sized items, you may be overdoing it.

Does any of this sound familiar? Where can you listen more to the whispers to head off the screams?
