Cancer Truth Note: #241
The brain is a powerful tool, focus it on what you want.
Manifesting is a bit of a wooly thing. I am not talking about magic wishes here. Yesterday, cancer truth #240, I was sharing about pain maps and some of the research to alleviate pain. The focus of the brain in those cases was not to focus on the pain, but to focus the brain on reducing the pain. See the pain as an entity with mass and reducing the space it occupies in your mind’s eye.
Focusing our brain on what we want versus what we don’t want enables us to take action toward what we want. If you want to lose 20 pounds and you focus on feeling bad in your body you may stay stuck there because your focus is on what you are unhappy about. If you want to lose 20 pounds and your focus is on HOW to feel better in your body, the first step is to take a positive step toward the goal, maybe go for a walk or do 10 minutes of yoga or pilates or eat a healthy snack instead of a cookie. When we focus our attention on what we want, to feel better in our body by losing 20 pounds, we are specific and focused.
What are you focusing on?
