Cancer Truth Note: #361

A cancer journey is a human journey. It covers the spectrum of emotions, sometimes changing from moment to moment depending on the day.

Somewhere along the way, we lost our way when it comes to giving ourselves permission to feel all the feelings.

Hard feelings are not bad.

Getting something wrong is how we learn.

Everyone doesn’t need a trophy for playing.

Only being positive can turn toxic, it isn’t real.

This is one of those places where we can be impacted by others’ judgments and not their curiosity. Life isn’t always roses and sunshine and puppy dogs. It just isn’t.

AND that is ok!

In order to fully experience the positive fun feelings we have to know what the other side feels like as well. Not set up shop and live there, but have the permission to say, “Today isn’t great.” That is being real. It doesn’t mean tomorrow won’t be better. Maybe it means that when tomorrow is better you will see it and enjoy it and be a little more grateful for it.
