Cancer Truth Note: #47

After a cancer diagnosis GOOGLE is NOT your friend. Just say no!
I am not saying never google stuff. Google is amazing and can help us find out about a lot of things. Your cancer diagnosis should probably not be one of those things. When you google, you can find reputable information backed by science, reputable adjacent information, and outright nonsense confidently presented as absolute fact.
Start with what your doctor provides you, ask them where they recommend you get more information if you want to dig deeper, and let that sink in. Once you have some time to process info from your doctor then you can think about branching out. In the early days it is best to just say no to googling.
