by | Feb 6, 2023 | Cancer Truth Note

These are symptoms of breast cancer related lymphedema (BCRL). Pain; Heaviness; Nerve issues (Numbness, Tingling, Pins & Needles or Burning), Loss of Strength; Slow Healing Cuts/Scratches; Difficulty Doing Daily Tasks.)If you feel any of these in your arm after breast cancer surgery or treatment you should be assessed for BRCL.

BCRL can show up in many different ways. If you have any of these symptoms: pain, heaviness, numbness, tingling pins and needles, loss of strength, slow healing cuts or scratches, or difficulty doing daily tasks, it is time to be assessed for BCRL. If you are not sure where to go, drop a note in messenger or in the comments and I can help.

Have you experienced any of these symptoms? How has it been addressed? Tell me in the comments.
