Self advocacy is YOUR JOB as a cancer survivor! Know your long term risks.

As a breast cancer survivor and movement specialist I have experienced this challenge first hand and seen it in action with my clients and friends. You know your body best. If something does not feel right, it is not right. It is ok to insist upon being heard by your doctors. Cancer survivorship is an emerging area with many unknowns that still exist for all of us.

Advocate, Advocate, Advocate. It is only by speaking up and asking for what you need that you can really get what you need.
