Cancer tumors can be painful.
I hear this from breast cancer survivors a LOT. The doctor told me I had nothing to worry about, the lump was painful and cancer tumors are not painful. I have talked with survivors as long ago as 20 years who say, “Yup that is just not true. My tumor hurt and it was cancer. It always surprises me that this is STILL something we tell patients even though it is absolutely not true.
