A cancer diagnosis does not end relationships. People end relationships.

There has been a cancer “chain letter” of sorts being posted on facebook walls lately. A lot of it is very true. There was one part I do not agree with, cancer does NOT end relationships. Cancer shines a big, huge spotlight on our relationships.

Combine that with people’s increased belief that life is too short to not pursue what makes them happy and their reduced tolerance for nonsense and that may result in the end to one or more relationships. Did you need to reevaluate friendships, significant others, marriages, etc.?
